it could mean one of two things:
one, he hates you, or
two (most likely), he likes you and is just shy around you. it actually happens sometimes that guys'll flirt around all day with a bunch of random girls, but then clam up around the one they actually like because they're afraid of looking stupid and ruining their chances. simple enough.
