Probably to see if she misses being with you. Sometimes they, women, separate in order to see if they truly are commited to a partner. Usually a move like this is bad. Only time can mend this occurance. Good luck. Leslie I think she is interested in the other guy but does not want to burn her bridges behind her. In other words if the new guy is as great as she thinks he is, then you're history. If the new guy doesnt work out she figures she can go back to you. A trick used quite often.

It sounds like you're criticizing the "other" girlfriend because the guy had a relationship with both of you at the same time. You should be looking at the boyfriend and whether this is a triangle that you want to be a part of. It doesn't sound like she's the one to criticize. Now that you know the rules the guy and the other girlfriend accept in their relationship, you have to decide whether it's something you want for yourself. If it's not, move on.
