well, it just really means that you really ARE her favorite! you may be smart, amusing, diligent, easy to teach, cooperative, or participative. you know teaching is a very hard job. teachers work even during their free time and even when theyre home. it's nice to have students who make their job much easier, or at least make them realize that their efforts dont go to waste. anyways, teachers often have many favorites (not just one!) and to be honest, even the obnoxious ones can also be their favorites. in fact, teachers remember most those who made them smile and especially those who gave them real headache.
another meaning to that is what teachers dont usually say: "..and im telling you that hoping you will always remember what a good student (--or person, if youre obnoxious!) you really are. i see your strengths (or potentials). i hope what i said will encourage you more to be your best... and i hope you shine more (--or study more, if youre the lazy type) in my subject! ;-p "
