This most likely refers to a Köchel (or Koechel) catalogue number. Ludwig Köchel published the first edition of his catalogue in 1862, which was intended to be a complete chronological listing of all musical works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The catalogue has gone through several editions. Other catalogue systems commonly found are BWV (Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis) for the works of J.S. Bach and RV (Ryom Verzeichnis) for those of Antonio Vivaldi. K314 is the Oboe concerto in C major.
