Longsuffering is another way of saying patience. If someone is giving you a bad time in your life or you are going through a lot of problems, longsuffering and patience will help you endure what is happening in your life with God's help, of course.
God is referred to as being longsuffering in The Bible in reference to how He gives people time to repent before He punishes them. This was the case with the Israelites as well as other nations.
