3rd gen = 3rd generation - the offspring of two 2nd generation pets
and so on...
There is no limit on the amount of pets you can own on Chicken Smoothie.
With the exception of being able to dress your pets up with items you cannot interact with Chicken Smoothie pets.

The 2nd generation pets on Chicken Smoothie are designed by the site artists. Members cannot breed pets on the site.
You can not breed pets on Chicken Smoothie. However, the artists sometimes release second generation or third generation pets that have been 'bred' from existing adoptables.
Chicken Smoothie pets become a day older each real day. You do not need to click or them or do anything else to make them grow.

You can obtain past pets on Chicken Smoothie through trading or, if you're lucky, grabbing a freebie from the Pound or the CS Free Adoptions board.
Only Chicken Smoothie artists and staff members are able to create pets, although occasionally there may be a guest artist (a regular site member who is invited to create some pets to be available for adoption)
You cannot design your own pets on Chicken Smoothie, as only the artists can do that. To adopt a chicken smoothie pet you go to the adoption tab and select which species you want, and then which litter/design.
Chicken Smoothie is a website where you can adopt virtual pets and watch them grow up over time. It has a large and active community, as well as an oekaki where you can create art to share with others.
