What does effacement of the left ventral thecal sac and possible minmal flattening of left central cervical spinal cord at c5-c6 Left framinal stenosis particularly proximal at this level mean?

Ventral means in front. Thecal sac means the sac that contain the spinal cord and cerebro spinal fluid. Effacement of the ventral thecal sac means pressure is upon the front of the sac (producing a flattening effect) most likely from a disc protrusion. Foramen means hole (where the nerve comes out of from the spinal cord). Stenosis means narrowing (usually from bony degeneration or disc herniation/protrusion/or bulge). Left foraminal stenosis means narrowing of the passageway where the nerve comes through.

What does left paracentral herniation C5-C6 withindents the thecal sac and mild left neuroforaminla narrowing at this level mean?

This seems like a "slipped disc" in the spine around the neck region (cervical spine) which is causing pressure on the surroundings of the spinal cord and nerve routes. The Mild left neuroforaminal narrowing refers to a narrowing of the cavity in the spine where nerves leave the spinal cord. Hope that helps! 'What does it mean when the MRI comes back with C5-C6 and C6-C7 disc osteophytic complex with some narrowing of the left lateral recesses at these two levels?

From what I see in your question, you're talking about the bones in your neck called cervical bones. For the #'s you gave, it would mean there's narrowing or lack of a gap between cervical #5 thru cervical #7. (5-6-7) That's most of the way up from the base of the neck on the backside. Narrowing of spaces where there's usually gaps is caused by wear & tear and aging usually and when the cushions between the bones are shrinking from wearing down or the aging process the consequence is narrowing. In this case on the left sides of C5 thru C7.
