This is where it is used in the play: Romeo says this in Act 1 Scene 4:
I fear, too early: for my mind misgives
Some consequence yet hanging in the stars
Shall bitterly begin his fearful date
With this night's revels and expire the term
Of a despised life closed in my breast
By some vile forfeit of untimely death.
It means fears. We use this nowadays when we talk about having misgivings: "I have serious misgivings about investing money in your shady scheme." To misgive is to have vague concerns. It's saying "something about this doesn't seem right."
In Romeo and Juliet, the term "misgives" means to feel apprehension or doubt about something. Juliet uses this term when she expresses concern about the plan for her and Romeo to be together.
Romeo is Juilet's eniemies son who she does not know until after they kiss.
