Being subjective means looking at a work or situation with a certain bias or opinion. Art and literature are subjective. When someone gives a subjective test, the test is based on the opinion of the person being tested. An objective test or view is based around fact rather than opinion.

Something that is non-subjective is not open to individual interpretation. For example, the weight of a stone can be clearly established and is non-subjective. However a subjective term (heavy, nedium, light) can still be applied to a non-subjective subject. I may call a 20 pound stone 'light', someone else may call it 'heavy.'

In one sentence is truth objective or subjective?

Truth or reality is objective, and you can not discover an objective reality using subjective means. For example, If wanted to know a rich man's name, you would not say or ask, "what is like being rich?" that would give you a different subjective answer rather than the objective answer your looking for.
