Pancreatic cancer is one of the most severe cancers there is. Whilst it can metastsize in a lot of different areas of the body, the most common is to the liver. Unfortunately the five year survival rate for it is around 5% and the median survival from being diagnosed is 3-6 months. It requires chemotherapy, radiotherapy and sometimes a surgery called a Whipples proceedure to give the patient a little more time. Hope this information is helpful.

∙ 9y agoPancreatic cancer is rarely diagnosed in the early stages due to the lack of symptoms. Once diagnosed, and the cancer is advanced, you will notice weight loss, abdominal pain, and yellowing of the skin.
