Music includes percussion because percussion is the rhythm and back beat of music doesn't matter if it is a band or guns and roses percussion is important.

The percussion sequence is written in the music sheet. Some composers used more and some used less. Beethoven used plenty percussion to make the symphonies hard in some parts. The coda simply was mean to have a lot of percussion for the finish of the piece.
