Best Answer

Traditional pizzas are typically circular (or sometimes square) in shape with an outer crust bordering the food. They are predominately red in color because of the tomato sauce that often forms the base upon which cheese and various toppings such as pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms, olives, and anchovies, are placed. Endless varieties and ethnic variations of Pizza have been developed over the years. http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en-commons/thumb/b/bb/179px-Pizza.png
