Yes, It happened to me when I was pregnant with my first baby. The placenta stoped feeding the baby and he stoped growing so I had to be induced immediatly after my doctor confirmt that the placenta had expired.
An expired/expiring placenta is when hormonal trigger tell the placenta that its done its duty and it's time to go. Usually it doesn't happen until after 40 weeks. If it happens early, as it does many times with multiple births, then the babies could be born prematurely or they could have late gestational failure to thrive because of the lack of nutrients. If oxygen delivery is also affected, cerebral palsy could result.
It is expiring may 4!
Expiring, or cancelling.

no
Placenta previa, placenta accreta, placenta increta, and placenta increta are all conditions stemming from abnormal implantation of the placenta.
This is because when you enter a country with a nearly expiring Passport, this might not be valid for when you exit the country and there you will have issues.
Placenta comes out after each kitten.
how nutrients, oxygen and waste are exchange between the fetus and the mother
The umbilical cord is attached to the placenta and the placenta is attached to the wall of the uterus
