when Ponyboy says that about him he means that there's not one person on earth that could relate to Johnny to make Ponyboy feel as comfortable and easy to get along with like the friendship he had with Johnny
Johnny is the heart of the gang. just like a human being, you need a heart to survive. Johnny is the most important to everyone in the gang. he is kind, he is small, he is the 'pet'. everyone loved him, and when he died, everyone took it hard, but Ponyboy took it the hardest. Johnny was important to everyone and he broke everyone's heart when he died. the gang wasnt like they were before with Johnny. it seemed like everyone went there seprite ways.
He meant that when someone says "they'll die without you", they'll normally survive. Johnny was the exception. He meant a person can't really live with Johnny. (if you knew him. As in, Johnny was everyones friend)
because johnny was the pet of the gang and everyone loves him
He means that Johnny and Ponyboy have something In common; And they dont even know.
TwoBit says this because Johnny was the most like Ponyboy, so they were very good friends
why are johnny and two bit surpriseed that ponyboy does not always get along
because he is like the pet of the gang, the one everyone cares about and gets along with everyone
His brothers Darry and Sodapop. Along with Steve, Johnny, Two-Bit and Dally.

This phrase from "The Outsiders" means that the speaker, Ponyboy, feels a strong bond with his friend Johnny, and suggests that their relationship is so important to him that he feels he could manage on his own as long as he has Johnny by his side. It highlights the deep connection and support they provide each other in the novel.

He meant the gang couldn't get along without him. The whole gang needs each other.

The answer to this question is always going to be an opinion and will be different to almost everyone. I've come to believe it was Johnny because -first off- he keeps the gang together. Even Ponyboy acknowledges that the gang can't get along without him. Then, he saves the kids from the burning abandoned church building.

Johnny felt like Dally was his big brother. Dally was always there for Johnny and they shared a brotherly love, not a gay love. When Johnny was stuck in the burning church Dally saved him. When Johnny said he wanted to turn himself into the cops Dally told Johnny not to because he didn't want Johnny to become like him because jail hardened him. He doesn't want Johnny to be cold-hearted and mean like himself.
johnny huma was a rebel he wondered along (repeat) dit johnny rebel was a rebel he wondered along and that's all i can remember
Johnny needed the gang for family love , just like must of the gang. johnny is like a little brother to the gang, hes innocent and gets along with everybody in the gang. Johnny is the pet of the gang and without Johnny the gang wouldst be the same as before. The gang are so close and they would feel like a bit of them is gone if Johnny died. You could say its foreshadowing aswell because johnny dies and then dally goes crazy(without johnny dally goes crazy and dies to)Hope this helped
Johnny represented innocence to Dally, who had lost his own innocence at a young age. Throughout the book Dally goes to great extents to protect the innocence in Johnny, and when Johnny finaly dies it causes Dally to snap and intentionaly get himself killed because he feels that all that was good and innocent in his life is lost along with Johnny. When Johnny is jumped and beaten by the socs it upsets Dally because he doesn't want to see Johnny become hardened to the world. The beating causes Johnny to become paranoid and carry a switchblade, evidence of the loss of innocence that Dally so strongly abhorrs.
