That depends if the child is expected or not. If you planned to have the baby, then s/he should bring the two of you closer. If the child is unexpected, it could either cause the guy to grow frightened of fatherhood take the cowardlyay out, which causes the mother to either be a single mom {bad} or find somebody better.
