Shall means will. "I shall do something today" is the same as "i will do something today"

Romans 10:9 in the KJV says: That if youshall confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua(Jesus), and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall besaved.

All the dark words above is in verse 9, and the ones in italics is not. so the words (you shall be) was added, and if we'd read it straight into English it'd be: God has raised Hom from the dead, saved.

So it is necessary to add certain words to clarify the meaning, BUT the people who do this SHOULD put ALL those added words in italics & gray.

Also the word shall-sould be SHOULD, because many people call upon His name and sadly turn from follow Him. That's the story of the tares. So when we study it it should have looked like this: That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you should be saved.

Or the first part could have been: 'That confessing with your mouth' I feel if these added words really don't need to be in His word for clarification, then by all means leave them out, GOD warns us about adding to His word: here's an example: Mark 16:9-20 all was added in later manuscripts, and it makes since, why would anyone with any since play with snakes and poison? The Bible says Not to Tempt God!-Duet.6:16 Also here's a Great Example from 1 John 5:7-8 where 26 words were added that didn't need to be at all.

1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record(witness) in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one.

8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the Blood: and these three agree in one.

Even though we know verse 7 & 8 are true, we shouldn't add to God's Word, All the Dark Gray words in verse 7 & 8 were added, that's 18 words! WOW!

Or added those words it would have looked like this:

7 For there are three that bear witnessesin heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one.

8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water and the Blood: and these three agree in one.

ALL these words in Black have been added, even though we know it's true, we shouldn't add to God's Holy (set Apart) Word!

That's 26 added words- Oy Vey-WOW! That's a lot of words added that didn't need to be added. But Verses 7 & 8 should read like this: 7 For there are three thatbear witnesses; 8 the Spirit, and the water and the Blood: and these three agree in one.

Remember the WORD in our MESSIAH the Word became flesh! Also many don't know that when the Bible(Books) were first written, there were no periods or comas or chapters, sentences. Man did that to help us when reading it and over all they did a good job. Like the 10 Commandments is called the 10 Words or 10 sentences, because it was One Long Sentence. Hope this helps someone.

First, it means Will or Must. The words weren't there almost always in Hebrew etc.

But the words themselves had forms that meant it

Like we have tenses (made), singular and plural etc.But many languages like Hebrew had one word for our "You will do". By the way, one could shorten this in Middle English like "wilst do" (missed "thou", see?

The same way even more is in Hebrew.

By The Way!

Is this sdding to Scripture?

Were Marh 16:9-20 added?

No! The gospel of Mark couldn't have ended with "because they feared "

No, but yes, It Ended with Amen!

Amen and Thanks be to God!
