There is no specific reference to secret societies. However, most if not all secret societies require incoming members to take oaths. In The Bible, James states that Christians must not swear by an oath: "But above all things, my brethren, swear not…but let your yes be your yes; and your no, no; lest you fall into condemnation." James. 5:12.
Christ also said, in Matthew 5:34-37, "I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool: nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one."
Endtime Biblical prophecy, however, considers secret societies as a tool to form a New World Order under the control of the "Beast" referred to in Revelation.
Sure the term "secret society" is not used but there are several references to avoid groups who meet in secret. There are also mosaic laws condemning idolatry and symbols used in rituals...as well as to not take oaths and then there's this verse....
Ephesians 5:12 "For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret."
