In some states, if you have a Medicaid card, it also serves as your EBT card for food stamps, which you swipe like an ATM card at the grocery store. If you are eligible for food stamps but not Medicaid (which is possible, as the eligibility requirements are different), you will be given a separate food stamps EBT card that is not a Medicaid card.
Yes you can! I live in South Carolina and made a trip to Fort Meyers Florida. I was able to use my EBT card all the way there even in Georgia. I used it at gas stations and grocery stores.
Food stamps were pieces of paper that had an amount of 1, 5, 10, or 20 to be used just like money on food. Now most states use a card that can be used to purchase food.
A ration stamp is similar to that of a food stamp. A ration stamp (or card) was given to the people of a country by their government and could be exchanged for food. This was mainly used during wartimes when things like bread, sugar, and coffee are in short supply and must be evenly divided among a group of people.

yesThe food stamp program is a Federal Program, meaning it is ran in all states. Therefore you are able to use your benefits in each state. The food stamp program also offers an employment and training program to those who are not working or under-employed for those that are eligible to participate. Some of the benefits include: job search skills training, resume writing, job application help and more. This can be very valuable to the job seeker who is competing with the thousands of other applicants who are also unemployed. Each County in Georgia is different. Paulding County Georgia is currently operating a program like for Food Stamp Recipients. It is called the Food Stamp Voluntary Program. For more information you can call the Department of Family and Children Services at 770-443-7810.
If we're talking about Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP aka food stamp) benefits, the answer is, generally, no. There are some exceptions like seeds to grow food with. In Alaska, one can get fishing and hunting supplies. An EBT card may have other benefit dollars (from TANF) and these don't have the same restrictions.
A ration stamp or ration card is a stamp or card issued by a government to allow the holder to obtain food or other commodities that are in short supply during wartime or in other emergency situations. Ration stamps were widely used during World War II by both sides after hostilities caused interruption to the normal supply of goods. They were also used after the end of the War while the economies of the belligerents gradually returned to normal.
No. The idea of food stamps was to keep people alive until they could work for themselves again, not pay for excessive activities like feeding pets.
No.
Its pretty easy to do, because it is not a member's only stamp. Ok, in a party, sometimes you see food booths, like a pizza booth, or an ice cream stall, or a Hot dog one, or anything that is like a food stall (The hot dog stand at the Stadium / Ice Rink does not work because it is not a party special). Go to one of those booths or stalls and to any food emote, like the pizza emote or ice cream emote. There's your stamp.
