All in all, there are millions (not joking) of things that are imported from other countries.
It has been much more than a century since the United Kingdom could provide enough food for it's populace. Not only foods that cannot be produce in that climate (tea and maize both require hotter climates) but the sheer volume of arable land is nowhere near adequate, therefore most of the food the Brits eat come from somewhere else. That was well known to the Axis forces during World War II, hence the constant attacks on convoys and ports, to starve the Brits out.

The UK does not import anything to Russia, it exports to Russia and imports from Russia
