The United Nations and other organizations use terms as " peacebuilding, peacemaking, peace support, and peace operations.

Nevertheless wars and armed conflicts are constantly raging in our world. The Unted Nations and other organizations have no lasting solutions that lead to a truly peaceful world.

The Bible's solution: " The God of heaven will set up a kingdom... and put an end to all human governments, and God's government alone will stand forever. " Read Daniel 2: 44 in the Old Testament.

God has given Jesus his Son great power, knowledge, wisdom and discernment -- far greater than that of any human government or organization or agency. Isaiah 11: 2 reads. " And the spirit of Jehovah will settle upon him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding. The spirit of consel and of mightiness. The spirit of knowledge and of fear of Jehovah God".

So to answer your question: The United Nation symbolise a government that was suppose to bring peace on earth, but as history shows that they are unsuccessful. The only government that can guaranty peace on earth is God's kingdom that will undo all the harm that millenniums of human rule have done. It will provide : perfect health, peace and security, and a clean environment.
