well, I saw a black duck ( I think I did ) in Catalina Island and I think that they eat tiny fishes in the ocean because I seriously saw it dive into the water to get fish.

∙ 11y agoIf you are raising a black bellie they can eat chick starter and move on to chick grower at 8 wks. In the wild these birds feed in rice other grains and small insects. Wild black bellies are nocturnal feeders. Mine get active at night in their cage.
