Having read the New Testament and having made feeble attempts to read the Old Testament, I do not recall any mention of skin color in any part of the Christian Bible.
I presumed, because of the fairly narrow geographical location of the events of The Bible that the various authors were mostly olive or somewhat dark skinned as would be typical of the region, rather than black or white.
So, while you cannot likely find any black people in the Bible, you also cannot find any whites.
You may be referring to the biblical tale of Ham, a dark and confusing tale that leaves much to the imagination and to interpretation.
Briefly, Ham (son of Noah) saw his father's nakedness as his father was drunk, and naked within his tent, and so Noah placed a curse on Ham's youngest son, Canaan and Ham's skin was "smitten". Ham's seeing his father's nakedness has been described as a euphemism for various illicit sexual misbehaviors or for castration. There have been many early and modern interpretations.
Ham is not directly cursed for his actions; instead the curse falls upon his youngest son Canaan. The curse seems unduly severe for merely observing Noah unclothed. It could mean that Ham prevented his father from having more sons and so his father cursed Ham's son. "Smitten" skin is interpreted as the darkening of Ham's skin that his descendants inherited.
The interpretation of sin darkening a sinner's skin became more common during the slave trade and a biblical justification for slavery was exploited.
rebellion
that sin and blasphemy are bad and and blasphemy is the only unforgivable sin
Nowhere in the Bible does it say that.
no
See James 5:16 in the New Testament.
The Bible says very clearly that rebellion is like witchcraft. It says that like witchcraft is a sin, so is rebellion a sin.
James 4:17 - Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. [NKJV]
Not according to the bible. There are some people who believe that thinking or dreaming a sin is a sin, though.
Everything is a sin... But, I must admit... It was a nice Fairy Tale.
if you are talking about killing yourself that will be a sin because GOD crated you and for you let that go its a SIN and that is the biggest thing GOD will never forgive you for
My apologies if I am mistaken, but I do not believe that phrase appears anywhere in the Bible.
Many websites say Dwight L. Moody while I did find one which said C.S. Lewis
