Everyone is a sinner, so everyone who believes in God is a sinner. There is no way for us to possibly be perfect. You can't do anything to make it up to God or become perfect, even if you're the greatest person in the world. Since you can't go to heaven if you are not perfect, Jesus died on the cross. We were forgiven of our sins when he sacrificed for us, and through Jesus, we can one day be with God. That right, he died on the cross for YOU because he loves you that much :). Though we will always be sinners, when you ask Jesus to be in your heart, when you're saved, you are forgiven, and when you know you really messed up on something, confess to him, and ask for forgiveness. He will forgive you. But of course, I'm not saying to go around being horrible :). Now to believe in God, be saved, and then just go on with your life, isn't good. When you're saved, you are asking him to steer your life. You give him control, and let him guide your choices. It's amazing to have a relationship with God, and I really hope this helped to answer your question. Sorry it's long ;D. It's a pretty broad subject.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

Answer:

According to The Bible... "Sin is the transgression of the law [the Ten Commandments]" -- I John 3:4. And, it doesn't matter whether you believe in God or not... all sinners, believers or unbelievers, are commanded to "REPENT" of their transgressions against Him.

"...that REPENTANCE and REMISSION OF SINSshould be preached in His name AMONG ALL NATIONS, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:47)

The world is a mass of satanic confusion over the name "God." There are hundreds [thousands] of them in the world. The Bible, however, prescribes and instructs "believers" in the correct way to become justified [return to innocence] before the True God and it must begin with "belief" [faith] in the power of the shed "Divine" blood of Jesus Christ to do that.

The majority of the world is presently blinded to that "faith." The world doesn't "believe."

That's what the "Great White Throne" of "Judgment Day" [Rev.20:11-15] is prophesied to accomplish for the vast majority of the generations of mankind that have lived and died in ignorance of God's Truth.

They, too, shall resurrect in their time, have their blinded hearts and minds opened to the Truth... and make the same informed decision as to whether they will choose to REPENT of their sins and have them blotted out, then, just as the called out "believers" of this present time are making their decisions, now.

It's not just "believing" in God that's the entire issue -- it's a matter of "what are you believing?" Are you believing "in accordance with the Bible"... or just clinging to personal "beliefs" with no knowledge or understanding of God's Word at all?

With thousands of gods in the world... in which one [or ones] are we believing?

Jesus reveals to us what Judgment Day is going to be like, when He stood up on the "Last Great Day" of the Feast of Tabernacles that one particular year. He "role-played" the part that He shall be living on Judgment Day -- He will be KING over all the earth, with ALL OF HIS CREATION gathered to Him for the purpose of THEIR ASSESSMENT, JUDGMENT and POTENTIAL SALVATION -- if they want it and choose it, in accordance with His Word:

"In the Last Day, that Great Day of the Feast [the "eighth" day of the Feast of Tabernacles, all of which pictures Christ's thousand year rule that ends with Judgment Day, the Last Great Day - Lev.23:39] , JESUS STOOD AND CRIED, saying, IF ANY MAN THIRST, LET HIM COME UNTO ME, AND DRINK. He that BELIEVETH ON ME, AS THE SCRIPTURE HATH SAID..." (John 7:37-38).

[God's requirement for "believing" on Him is... having faith in Him... 'coming to Him'... in accordance with scripture, with what the Bible says. Not believing something... any old thing you want to... about Him]

So, what the Bible says about sinners who believe in God is: First, they must believe in the Righteous and True God... second, they must believe in Him according to how the Bible prescribes, in obedience to it and Him.

Sinning... any sinning... by believers or unbelievers... need to be forgiven and blotted out by the God of the Bible, in accordance with it... whether you are a believer "now" -- or on Judgment Day.

For on Judgment Day, there will be no "unbelievers" on earth. Only believers.

There will be only those who utterly REPENT and choose to come to Him willingly and obediently, according to His Word, desperately seeking His mercy and forgiveness for their past sins and be given His salvation -- the gift of Eternal Life through Jesus Christ:

or those incorrigibly wicked ones who absolutely refuse to repent of their sins, absolutely refuse to bow to God's Authority, God's Word and God's ways... and absolutely refuse to bow down to Jesus Christ.

"But those MINE ENEMIES, which would not THAT I SHOULD REIGN OVER THEM, bring hither, and SLAY THEM BEFORE ME." (Luke 19:27)

"And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire." (Rev.20:15)

Ultimately, the result is written. Believers in the True and Righteous God will have their names written in the Book of Life and be given God's gift of Eternal Life and become His Children -- enter into the God Family.

The incorrigibly wicked shall be burned up in the coming fire that shall purify the New Remade Earth of all sin and evil -- and cease to exist, forever.

"...the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up... the Day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to the promise, look for New Heavens and a New Earth, wherein dwelleth Righteousness." (II Peter 3:10-13)

That's some of what the Bible says about sinners that "believe in God."

Just, choose your God wisely.

Answer:I just have one thing to say about the perfect thing all the way in the top: God know we will never be perfect and that we will eventually make errors but that is no reason to sin. Take the book of Job for example. The first verse says that he was a perfect man but it did not mean that he was perfect (as in never doing a mistake in his life) but he was perfect in the sense that he didn't sin against God on purpose. I hear many people who say that we will never be perfect and its true because we commit mistakes but when it comes to sins your wrong. Jesus walked on this earth and bore the same pains as ours and was truly perfect ( in all of the senses-no mistakes no sin) and when he left he said that he would leave the holy spirit with us. If we say that we can never be perfect then we justify our sins by saying we're not Jesus yet you still claim to have the holy spirit within you? The holy spirit will guide us, just like Jesus had Christ to guide him. There is no excuse when we sin! Be perfect like Job and try to be perfect in every sense as Jesus! AnswerAds stated previously, we are all sinners, and it makes no difference whether a person just believes in 'god' or 'God' or whatever: even the devils believe in God:-

James 2

v.19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Just knowing something is not enough: you must also repent of your sins:

Mark 1

v.15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

I don't know if the Questioner meant to ask "What does the Bible say about sinners who repent and believe in God?" , in which case the Answer would be easy: they are forgiven.

Some believe that the Bible is the word of God because it was literally told to the authors by God himself, and therefore is infallible. Others believe that the Bible is the word of God because it was inspired by God, although the books were the work of men, and although it can contain errors of history and science, it is infallible on matters of faith.

Who did The Bible?

I believe that the Bible was written by many different people over quite a long period of time, but that they all knew what God wanted them to write. When I read the Bible I read what God wants to say to me/us. The writers of the Bible did the writing, but God did the inspiring.
