The body uses oxygen for the production of energy by the respiratory chain reactions and the oxidative phosphorylation which will result in the formation of high enegry molecules such us ATP and NADPH.
The body does MANY things with the oxygen you breathe. Oxygen is like vitamins for you're body. First The heart takes the oxygen and puts it in the bloodstream. Then the heart pumps the blood everywhere in you're body. Your feet, neck, hands, and the most important of all, your organs! The liver "cleans" the blood that passes through it to make sure it has no germs or anything else harmful.
Isn't the human body amazing?
Our bodies need oxygen because every single living cell in our bodies need it for energy. The oxygen travels in our blood stream from our lungs to the cells. Cells also need food for respiration.
Glucose+oxygen = energy+water vapour+ carbon dioxide
Technically, oxygen is used as a hydrogen receptor. It keeps the voltage down, so that the energy-creating reactions can continue. Carbon dioxide is used by the body to stimulate breathing. Although oxygen, itself, could be used (and is used) it is too slow for, e.g., mammals.
if you are burning energy faster than the body could supply the oxygen necessary for the normal reaction,. your body does that without the oxygen
The air carries oxygen to your body when it is inhaled into your lungs. The blood carries oxygen through you body to the vcells that use it as part of their metabolism.
About 20%.
You don't use all of it but you do use a lot of it i am not 100% certain how much you use though
Humans would not be able too breath and probably die The human body essentially relies on oxygen to keep its muscles functioning, if there was no oxygen then humans would first use the oxygen it already had in the bloodstream. The body would then turn to anerobic respiration to keep the body functioning. After that the body would probably fall into a coma and die from oxygen deprivation
so you can breathe
You Have to Use Oxygen.
In the mitochondria of your cells.
A penguin is a flightless bird it use lungs for in take of Oxygen in its body.
They use their gills.

Carbon monoxide seriously limits the body's ability to use oxygen.
remove waste from the body
remove waste from the body
the body usees the nose to get the oxegen then the lungs separate what the body can or cant use anything the body cant use we exhale
if you are burning energy faster than the body could supply the oxygen necessary for the normal reaction,. your body does that without the oxygen
