Electromagnetic Radiation is one of the four "forces" to include EM, gravity, and the strong and weak nuclear forces. Visible light is a very small slice of the electromagnetic spectrum; true green, the color to which your eye is most sensitive is 555 nanometers wavelength. A very high energy, hot objects like a star or thermonuclear explosion emits all frequencies of EM Radiation. Remember all EM Radiation in a vacuum travels at the speed of light so frequency is calculated by dividing C (the speed of light) by the specific wavelength of the radiation.
