mixture of water and land and leaves
Fire belly toads like warm water, preferring water around 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
A Firebelied Toad.
fire belly toads cost like 5 bucks and they make awesome pets i recomend them THEY R HOT
they are like any other frogs, they live in humid areas and live on both land and (mostly) water.
In a way they do.. I myself have a fire bellied toad named bobbert. yes seriously his name is bobbert. but that's besides the point. fire bellied toads can secrete toxxins from their skin. i recommend not kissing ur fire belly with ur lips. don't be alarmed you can still hold them just make sure you wash ur hands after handling them. here are some tips for ur fire belly: juveniles feed daily adults feed 3-4 times a week keep its habitat temp. 72-80 degrees farnehite don't handle it too much(but u can still hold it don't worry) make sure their home has water fire bellys like about one half to three fourths of thei habitat to be water && ya that's all i gots for now
they like to play catch the grub!
First of all, they are called Fire Bellied Toads, or Fire Belly Toads, not to be mean. As long as you have [wear] gloves when you hold them, your ok [safe]. I love to watch them at the pet stores, because they are very cute. I some day will own them, too, like many other fire bellied toad owners. Aks and do your research before you by them.:)
It would have to be like a Texas or Mexican desert.
I have a terrarium with two red eared sliders, and 2 fire bellied toads along with many fish and other aquatic animals. I was wondering the same question. I have had mine living in a 100 gallon tank with my turtles for about a month now and they seem to get along. In fact, today the frogs were hanging onto the shell of my turtle enjoying a nice little ride. As far as I can tell, as long as there is plenty of food in your tank for the turtles to eat and not think of your frogs as prey they should be fine, but like I said I'm not sure.
No. There have been rare cases of a fire belly toad dieing from over eating. Although their appetites change in the winter. They tend to have a bigger appetite in the summer. Even though you can't kill your fire belly with too much food, it's not normal to feed it 20 insects every single day. You should stick to one to two insects every other day. He's right. Bug does anyone know about Jacques Cartier
yeah they do sell some types like fire belly toads and they sell the PAC man (terrestrial) frogs at petco but that's the one by me, so don't take it as 100% sure but i mean that's most likely what they have
Baby toads look like small versions of adult toads.
