Fram makes an OE replacement for the fuel filter that fits the 1966-1983 Ford LTD, the G22A. The filter is cylindrical shaped, brass-colored metal, with tubes at the top and bottom (longer at the bottom of the filter). The inside diameter of the inlet is 0.31", with 13-27 pipe thread. The inside diameter of the filter housing is 0.94 inches and the whole unit is 2.86 inches in height.
should be on top of the engine. it doesent look like a normal fuel filter.
It's a inline fuel filter. It looks like a small canister. You will see when you buy it at the parts store.
that is a fuel filter
What model? The diesel has an inline filter (follow the fuel line inside the engine compartment) and a main filter (it looks like an oil filter with a large brass bolt on top). It is a petrol engin.
The 2010 F150's do not have a conventional, replaceable fuel filter. I just bought a 2010, and the Owners Manual states that the filter is now in the gas tank, and Ford claims it is a "lifetime" filter. I think I will be tapping into my fuel line to add a replaceable filter. I don't like the idea of never changing a fuel filter. If it's designed to never clog, it isn't filtering enough.
Check the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel injectors.
Seems like you have a fuel problem, cheap fix if it has external fuel filter replace it. Fuel pump could also be going bad.
The fuel filter is mounted on the under carrage under the driver side or on the left side of the truck closer to the fuel tank you can't miss it. It looks like a can with a line connected to both ends.
It looks like what a fuel filter should be
fuel pump, fuel filter, dirty injectors, it may also be a ford or dodge, buy a Chevy
where is the fuel filter on a bob cat and what does it look like
When you first start off in your vehicle, it runs fine, then it starts acting like it's running out of gas, which, technically, it is. Because the gas (fuel) cannot pass the filter to the engine.
