If it's the one in the engine bay you talking about, there is one that connects to the heater tap on joint to the heater hose.
Just un hook the hose's from heater core and put a piece of pipe in them or something and hook them together.
need vacuum hose diagram fast idle ac
you probabally have a vacuum hose disconnected
First off, you'll need a vacuum hose. I usually put the small end over the jet and fill the hose with water. After the hose is full put the large end in the skimmer. Place your vacuum head in the pool, attach the hose to it, now you're ready to vacuum.
Any place that has constant vacuum Usually on the back side at the base of the carb.
Put a vacuum plate over the top of the leaf basket (usually supplied with the pool) and plug the vacuum hose into it.
One goes from the heater core to the water pump, the other goes from the heater core to the intake manifold.
Check the vacuum operated valve at the hose going to the heater core.
Cut both heater hoses and hook them together. Make the hose go from the motor to the radiator.
You have a vacuum leak somewhere. Trace the main vacuum hose fom the air intake until you find a crack in the hose.
i have the exact same problem. the hose comes from around the heater core area but i dont know where the otherend goes
The heater control valve is used to shut off hot coolant from entering the core when the heater is in the off position. A heater control valve can be actuated by either a vacuum line or a cable from the vacuum heater control valve to the heater core. This hose should be warm; if not the heater control valve is stuck and needs to be replaced
