greyhounds are wonderful around children, but not so great around other dogs. they aren't aggressive, but they enjoy personal attention and don't like sharing their owners. despite their swiftness they are in fact very lazy and will sleep for hours at a time. it is best to bring your hound to the park or where he can run at least 3 times a week, but you won't be there long, because they have short bursts of energy and then you can't get them to do anything. it is important that they do get a considerable amount of exercise, however.
