The green Shift arow apears at 2000 RPM and it means that you should and can shift up to keep a low fuel consumption. You don't have to is just for fuel economy.
If its the button below the heater dials then it is the air conditioning button. It's the only snow symbol in my 2002 Corsa.

It means you have pushed the eco button to power. In english , the power button changes the shift pattern for more performance on the transmission.

OD means Overdrive. The light is on because you have disengaged the Overdrive. The button is on the shift lever on the side. Push that button to engage the overdrive.
