Why they spelled it with a K? Who knows.
I have 31 x 10.5" BF Goodrich T/A KO tires. They are considered the largest tires you can fit without a lift. They rubbed a bit during sharp turns until I installed a 2" Tuff Country lift.
Yes. I have BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO 31x10.5x15 on my 2003 ranger edge and they are great. Everything is factory, no mods. Same wheels, suspension, etc. The 2003 and 2004 should be identical.
I did not have "rims" on my 1996 (identical to 1999) but I had two different sets of 31 inch tires. the first were mud tires which rubbed slightly in hard turns. The second (BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO) never rubbed, and had a full diameter of 30.7 inches. So that is the number you need to know. You have at least 30.7 inches vertically. Unfortunately I cannot tell you about width, except that the tires I had were 10.5 inches wide (31x10.50xR15) I hope this helps.
The Letter's KO stand for Knock Out.
It all depends on the truck that it is going on. Usually it will tell you on the inside on the driver door or on the inside of the gas lid. The max safe pressure for the tire will also be listed on the sidewall.
