On a 2001 Ford Windstar : That warning light means that one of your exterior bulbs has burned out ( the warning light between the door ajar warning light and the low engine coolant warning light , located in the lower right area of your gauge cluster )
You will need to open the liftgate and remove the screws that hold in the tail light housing. Once removed, you can twist the bulb socket slightly to remove it from the housing and replace the bulb.

Basically, find the burned out bulb and replace it. This warning will continue until the bulb is replaced. There is no reset function (except on the message module). It automatically clears once the condition goes away. Carl

I was looking at the 2001 Ford Windstar Owner Guide and the warning light : above the tachometer is the check fuel cap light below the engine temperature gauge in the middle is the bulb warning light , one of the exterior bulbs has burned out
