Collared Lizards are primarily carnivores, but many will also eat plant matter, including collard greens, mustard greens, kale and zucchini. Meat should constitute the majority of the Collared Lizard's diet. Collared Lizards will eat commercially raised crickets, mealworms, earthworms, kingworms and roaches. (Wild caught insects should never be fed, since they can carry disease.)
they eat food ---- Garden lizzards eat almost anytype of bugs, x-specially leaves, plants, diced meat, mince, and some fruits. Just make sure when you are giving them water, put it in a short bottle cap and fill it up half way so they wont drown. If you bought or caught them make sure their new home is exactly like it was before in their natural habitat. And garden skinks eat the same thing althought they are almost completely different. But becareful sometimes some food, plants, leaves, bugs can be dangerous you can check on the internet to find out. ( crickets and beetles are ok) Good luck hope it works well :)

Lizards such as Uromastyx are almost completely herbivorous. Lizards of the genus Sauromalus are also herbivorous along with most iguanas (excepting the smaller Ctenosaurs). Lizards range in diet. Large monitors are mostly carnivorous. Aforementioned lizards are herbivorous, and lizards such as the ever-so-common Bearded Dragon are omnivorous. There are a multitude of lizards that are insectivorous. There are also some species of gecko that are omnivorous, relying on a variety in diet from fruits and saps - insects and small arachnids.
