MacSpeech is a software that helps users stop all of the tedious typing and writing. This software converts speech into text. It has been called a "personal transcriptionist."
Given what I have read on other websites, I am surprised that this question has not been answered because of the many problems with MacSpeech indicated by current users. I have used Dragon NaturallySpeaking from version 3 through version 9.5 and it is light years ahead of MacSpeech. Frankly, MacSpeech needs a long ways to go, especially their correction system. If I would compare Dragon NaturallySpeaking with MacSpeech, I would give Dragon NaturallySpeaking a 9.5, and MacSpeech a 2. In addition, the MacSpeech folks are charging $55 for an upgrade that try to eliminate some of the problems that should have been corrected in the first place. This company is getting off to a terrible start. I also find it interesting that the end users most often rate MacSpeech as terrible, and the "professionals" give it high ratings. I'm wondering if someone is getting paid off.
