Project management positions whether corporate or individual took a major hit from the recession in 2008/2009. With less income comes less investment. Corporations could not pay people to be in charge of new ventures. In your situation of Event Planning I would assume the same thing. With less income means if you want something done your more likely to do it yourself. I run an event calendar for my hometown. Sad to say I most likely won't be next month.
My presumption based on the look-and-feel of the outlets, and the minimal event signage I've seen, is that it's targeting families interested in low-cost comfort food.

Market research can confirm you your ideas about your target market. What is the profile of your demand? Who is going to buy/look for your product/service? By researching existing information and carrying out some primary market research, asking your potential future clients you will know who is interested and who is not.
Why is it always about the shares and not the staff if look after the staff we the shares not look after themselves
The best way to market a company is to find out who is your target market. A target market is a group of customers that need your product or services. To find your target market, requires researching. My suggestion is to find your local library and do some research on target marketing. Look under the business section for marketing.
Employers who hire event planners look for degrees such as hospitality management, business administartion, marketing, public relations, or communications. However, many people who are event planners previously had careers which involved planning responsibilities, too.
You could look at the BBB (Better Business Bureau)
Assuming an American audience, you could try to get your CSEP designation from ISES (www.ises.com). CSEP stands for Certified Special Event Professional and ISES is the International Special Events Society. Although MPI is a good organization, it is for meeting planners, whereas ISES is for event planners, which is what you said that you are. Also, look into The Special Event and Event Solutions - they are two great conferences that happen each year in the US and you can receive credits toward your CSEP for going to them.
Most party event planners will help plan a party of any kind. And most of them also have a good idea about local venues. So if you look for party planners in your area you'll find a good company of your choosing. Party supply stores like iparty also may have referrals to local party planners and venues, and they carry a full range of party supplies. http://www.iparty.com
Good wedding planners should be able to meet the needs of their clients no matter what the theme of the wedding is. That is what they get paid for. You can look for wedding planners in your phone book and phone (let your fingers do the walking) to see if they can handle your request of a Moroccan theme wedding.
Yes you can. There are several companies that do this. Stewart's Mobile is a national company. They also offer event staff (http://www.stewartsmobile.com/?gclid=CJbG7dvizaECFRg-lAodWGVMJA). Other places to look are local catering companies or event planners.
beautiful
It's like all Market Places but better so if you every go to a place always look for all the Market Places.
well there was a music jam event, a medieval times event, plus a carnival event where you can find cotton candy. plus holiday events such as Halloween. each holiday event like Halloween gets changed like before you had to look for a pin, now you have to look for a pumpkin basket stuff like that. there might be a fourth of July event im not sure. i hope this helps
As a corporate event planner you are responsible for invitations, marketing, promotions, accomodations and menu. You also have to make quick decisions that involve the desirability and viability of event locations.

Start with a solid language skill before the stock market. Trust me you will benefit from this.
