This is about a group of people affected by the death of a young man from their town. Jimmy Lyon had been killed in Vietnam. The town's children remember him fondly, with someone carving Jimmy Lyon's name into the wall. It is later revealed that an artistic stranger who paints a mural. The kids think this is a violation of their wall. They plan to ruin the work, but then they see the mural and see Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Harriet Tubman and more, on their beloved wall dedicated to her cousin, Jimmy Lyon.
