The answer is not a big fat lie. I have played and completed pokemon pearl quite a few times so i know more than you two. The person on the top is not a liar. If you have defeated the karate guy in a battle he gives you an odd keystone and i quote..."Dont say anything. Just take it." "(Player's name) obtained odd keystone"(But i think you have to get all 8 badges). Just try to get the odd keystone from him before 8 badges and see if it works. If it doesn't, get 8 badges and do that's how i got mine. IGNORE THE TEXT IN THE MIDDLE. THE ONE THAT STARTS WITH "this is from a professional pokemon player BLAH BLAH BLAH.........."
this seems hard. i have completed the game and beaten cynthia 39 times and i dont have odd keystone. PS i did the strikethrough.
go to the weird tower/rock thing south of solanceon and press a, it says you insert the keystone,nothing happens BUT if you meet 35 people(or reenter the tunnels 35 times and meet with the same person it counts as 35 people) and go back to the weird tower/rock thing you can catch a spiritomb

You can get it from a man west of Hearthome, or in the pond south of your house in Twinleaf. then you go to Hearthome City and walk on the eastern route until you find a small/ish pillar, then place the Odd Keystone there. *Note: you have to have greeted at least 32 people in the underground to encounter Spiritomb.

∙ 13y agoyou have to trade it to D/P/Pt and put it in the small hill by hearthome and go underground, talk to 32 people or 1 person 32 times(if 1 person 32 times, go up after each time) after that, talk to the hill and you battle a wild spiritomb

∙ 11y agoi dont know,but in diamond/pearl/platium,the sinnoh trainer games,you put the odd keystone in the broken tower,which is near the lost tower.then you go underground and talk to a number of different people,go back out,and you can face spritomb.
