You may be thinking of the fulfilled prophecy at Daniel 4:28-33 where King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, haughty and prideful, was taught a lesson in humility by God. It reads, in part: "...Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird..."(NIV). This historic event is again mentioned at Daniel 5:17-21, when Daniel was speaking to Nebuchadnezzar's heir, Belshazzar about this very literal fulfillment. He says: "....when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory. He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes." He lost his mind and was taken from his throne, behaving as an animal for seven years, until he accepted God's authority. He got the message and regained his throne.(Daniel 4:34-37)
