yes it has sadly happened to me. I had bough two salamanders and kept them in a 30 gal tank. (one was more matured than the other) and one day they were both there and the other the small one was gone. There was no way it could have escaped as the tank has a webbed lid.

It is possible that a Venus flytrap could eat a salamander, although it isnâ??t that likely. They are more likely to eat unsuspecting insects that fall onto them.
