The story of Tiddalik is an Australian Aborignal dream time story from the south east coast of Australia (and maybe amongst other Aboriginal nations). Tiddalik is the story of the dreamtime frog who got thirsty and greedy and drank all the water and how the other animals made him laugh and he spat up all the water which made all the rivers, and lagoons, swamps and billabongs. Tiddalik turned into stone and this stone can still be seen in the Hunter Valley NSW where it is considered a sacred site by the Wonnarua, Awarbakal and Worimi people around it.
