The Thunderstorm skull upgrades your enemies, so like they go up in rank, it makes it 1.5 times harder, and they are worth more points when playing the metacampaign, which is basically playing for points. and are often used to get the metacampaign achievements.

∙ 14y agoThe Iron skull, when activated, reverts your game back to the previous checkpoint if a player dies. This is modeled after the default on the legendary setting in Halo and Halo 2; if a player dies, all the players are reset at the last checkpoint.

∙ 14y agoIt makes it so that enemys are 1 rank higher like regular brutes will be captains and captains will be gravity hammer chieftans and gravity hammer chieftans will be plasma turret chieftans.
