Purchase a new Flasher Relay so you will know what it looks like. The Flasher Relay is located to the right of the steering column, mounted to bottom of instrument panel carrier. It simply pulls out and the new one pushes back in.
A turn signal flasher for that vehicle resembles a relay.
You can replace it with any 12volt flasher you want, provided that its rated load is the same as the wattage of the signal bulbs you are using.
There is no such thing as a relay flasher. It is either a relay or a flasher. Are you referring to the turn signal flasher or an actual relay like the fuel pump relay? Please advise.
The tuirn signal flasher is located in complete module attached to the turn signal lever. It is all one solid unit.
the flasher relays are located next to the fuse block. they are short cylinders. the top cylinder is the emergency flasher and the bottom cylynder is the turn signal flasher.
Hi, If you are looking for the (relay) for the directionals and the emergency flasher I think it is all incorporated in the turn signal stalk called the MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH. So if something goes like the signals, flasher,or wipers, the whole unit has to be changed with a price around $60.00 just for the part. Hope this is what you were asking about.
Sounds like the Turn signal flasher is bad. On those cars there are 2 flashers, 1 for hazards and 1 for turn signals. Most of them were a #552 flasher. A 1.25 inch round silver or gray or yellow object located in the fusebox of those good ol cars.
Sounds like a weak turn signal flasher
You need to locate your flasher, usually near your fuse box; is sounds like your flasher is burnt out for that side.
Right side steering column where dash and column meet. Stock flasher is about the size of a shot glass and looks like a tin can.
The body computer is the flasher. It is on the back side of the under dash fuse box
