Look it up in the owners manual. Every symbol on the dash will be listed in that with a short explanation of its function. Some of the lights are self-explanatory ... like a little thermometer would be for the water temp ... the oil can drip for the engine oil ... a circle with dashes around it could be the brake pad thinness alarm, etc etc.
