When talking about food chains, an organism is considered to be anything from a plant which is an autotroph to a predator always a carnivore and it is called a heterotroph. A heterotroph is anything that does not produce its own food. Plants and trees, as well as flowers and cactuses make their own food without eating anything else. Instead, they go through a process called photosynthesis which requires a lot of carbon dioxide and water so they can make their own food. The scientific formula for this is CO2+H2O. When plants are done with photosynthesis, they go through another process called celluar respiration, which releases oxygen into our atmosphere for us to breathe. The scientific formula for this is CO2+H2O=C6+H12+O6+O2.
An autotroph is any organism that can make its own food using carbon dioxide as a starting material. Another name for an autotroph is a producer - they're at the bottom of food chains.
it shows how food chains are related.

Yes, if you mean in terms of food chains and trophic levels, etc.
Do you mean Diagram? 'food chain"
If by organism you mean one individual, then not much unless it were in a very small food web. If you mean one species or population then whatever eats that organism would be the first and most affected by the death, but the effect would tricle through ever level of the food web.
A heterotrophic is an organism that depends on other organisms for their food.
one organism or the producer kills or eats the other for food
"trace chains (n): the chains that connect a horse's harness to a vehicle."
An organism that gets its energy from producers (plants/autotrouphs). It is the first heterrotophs on a food chain.
Short food chains mean that your food is close to the source. All food ultimately comes from plants. If you eat a vegetarian animal, it was raised on plants. If you eat a carnivorous animal, you are eating an animal who has eaten another animal who ate a plant. Eating a carnivorous animal makes you part of a longer food chain than if you eat plants directly.
If you mean Autotroph, it is an organism capable of making its own food from inorganic substances using light or chemical energy
