for the playable version released in shonen jump, its effect is changed slightly. card effects are not activated when it is summoned, and it cannot be targeted by card effects (it can still be destroyed by effects that do not target, like lighting vortex). you can tribute two monsters you control to destroy all monsters your opponent controls, but obelisk cannot attack during the turn. also, if it is special summoned from the graveyard, it is sent to the graveyard during the end phase.
