I want to know what cranial means doctors say his brain is not growing his head shape is not right does he need a operation for this?
Sorry to hear about this, I'm sure it's not pleasant, especially seeing that the doctor must have done a bad job explaining things. Cranial means regarding the cranium, which is the skull. If the cranium is not "growing" it could be something to do with his hormones, check out growht hormones, and thyroid hormones on wiki. If you can gather together more info I'll be glad to decode them for you. All the best
Asked in Reproductive System
Why do male and female have different reproductive system?
The female reproductive system is designed for the growth and nurture of a fetus for approximately 9 months.Because it has to be adapted to carry out this important function, is more complex than the male reproductive system . While the male reproductive system is make up mainly of spongy tissue ,glands, and ducts, the female reproductive system has a uterus that is made up of tissue and muscle. they are :endometrium(shed during menstruation) ,mesometrium (mainly muscle ) perimetrium(outmost layer ) .All this helps the uterus expand during gestation. In addition, the ovaries help to release hormones to ensure the healthy growht of the child throughout the 9 months. the male reporductive system is most important during fertilisation. after which it plays no role in the development of the fetus. hope this answers your question:)
