Most of them. I'm a Vegetarian.
Meat substitutes for a vegetarian diet include tofu, soy, bulgur wheat, walnuts, peanuts, eggplant, Portobello mushrooms, tempeh, beans, peas and hummus.
They are commonly used as vegetarian alternatives to meat. Supposedly the taste and range of textures allows them to be used as direct substitutes for meat, without the need of recipes to be adapted. Tofu is also used in a range of Asian cooking, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
Disliking the taste of beef alone doesn't necessarily make you a vegetarian. A vegetarian diet typically excludes all meat, including poultry and fish, not just beef.
