Nothing unusual at all. Scientists have proven that sugary foods make no difference to the human body in way at all than it does to normal food.
Because your body digests and uses what it can. It stores energy it doesn't need as fat and then you poop out what the body couldn't do anything with. So if you eat a candy bar, then exert yourself enough to burn the caloric value of the bar you will gain no weight. Your body will burn what it can and eliminate what it can't in your poo.
Eat it.
Eat a candy bar, like hard candy. Or, eat a tablespoonful of peanut butter, if you are not allergic. Another choice may be fruit juice.
