Do you mean Creutzfeldt-Jakob?

Cruetzfelt-Jakob disease (CJD) is a degenerative nureological disorder, meaning it stops your brain from working fully. You have trouble with functioning, both mentally and physically.

I, personally, do not have this disease, and don't know how it feels. But you can imagine willing yourself to move or speak and not be able to.

You may not be able to see, you may walk differently or stumble a lot, become easily confused, have a speech impedement, have seizures, insomnia, and personality changes. You might have trouble with standing up for periods of time, feel nevous a lot, be unable to eat or drink, things like that.

Creuzfeldt-Jakob disease is caused by something called a prion, which is a kind of protien that causes other, normal protiens to act abnormally and fold in on themselves.

Hopefully, that answers youer question.

Do people begin to go downhill physically or biologically after age 21?

The human can go into decline at any age. The factors that determine decline are nutrition, disease and body maintenance. If nutrition is not good, the body will go into decline (at any age). If a disease process is in effect, the body can go into decline (at any age). If the body is not given proper maintenance, the body will go into decline (at any age). It is common to see body decline with aging, but that effect takes place generally in the 40s. However, people in their 40s can actively improve nutrition, body maintenance and avoid disease process, thus minimizing body decline.
