∙ 13y agoget a bichon frise...they have hair not fur which means no allergies. they look like a terrier only with poodle hair. they are adorable. they are great with kids and famies.

poodles, hairless dogs, and breeds mixed with other non shedding breeds. and as for the asthma, i would get an ok from your doctor and talk to her/him about the effects of dog hair and dander with a post asthmatic person

I wouldn't recommend a lab for a child who has asthma only because labs shed a lot. I have a cousin who has bad asthma and he cannot be around my labrador. I would recommend a dog that won't shed such as a Bernese Mountain dog. They do not shed and the oils on their skin will not affect someone with asthma.
